Nope, it's unscrewed, the car goes into park when I turn the engine off, but not when I double tap the lever into neutral.Jar wrote: 11 Feb 2025, 12:25 You probably have the emergency parking lot release screw screwed in, it's located under the gearbox. you have to unscrew it...

Re: Park position with DCT Shifter
This doesn't seem to work on my car. The light on the shifter changes, but the gearbox is still in neutral as the car rolls down my driveway.Jar wrote: 04 Feb 2025, 12:17 Stock dct cars dont have parking function.
When you using dct shifter with 8hp Turbo Lamik then TCU add P function when you gady double click N position

How would I check this?Remy wrote: 03 Sep 2024, 20:42 Maybe the RPM signal is lost? Happens a few times connected to a VR style sensor which signal is the weakest on idle.

I don't think it's the paddles as the car shifts fine when driving.zeroto60 wrote: 02 Sep 2024, 04:39 I would start by finding out of the TCU is getting a command or request to downshift in that condition. I have seen faulty paddles do something very similar. But it would upshift randomly.

Randomly going into Neutral when stationary
Lately, when I come to a halt in traffic, or at lights, or at a junction my car will sometimes suddenly go from 1st to N,
It's only started doing it recently, and it's not always, just occasionally, but I have no idea why.
Any suggestions please?

These guys have made a manual override for the DCT boxes, and if you read the comments they are working on a manual override for the 8HP boxes, which should be available very soon.
So for anyone interested it might be worth keeping an eye out to see ...

BMW Drivelogic button to change driving mode?
Hi.
I'm about to install and 8HP70 into a car (not a BMW) that has the BMW Drivelogic button installed (car was running an E9x DCT).
Instead of using the rotary knob in the Turbolamik kit to change the driving mode could I use the existing drivelogic button instead?

Toucan Display
Hi.
I'm about to install and 8HP70 into a car (not a BMW) running a Syvecs S6+ ECU linked to a JT Innovations Toucan touchscreen.
Instead of using the little green screen that's in the Turbolamik kit could all the info be displayed on the Toucan instead?

Sorry, what do you mean by "P throws a Tilt Double into N"?Jar wrote: 14 Nov 2022, 22:28 Selector M4 does not have the ability to run P by default, but the TCU has added such an option. P throws a tilt double into N
