Same here after upgrade to 10.72 . Also on MS43 . 10.67 was much smoother .

I upgraded to 10.71 , downshifts are better but upshifts are bit slippy and harsh. But without adaptions yet …

I can provide can dump from my BMW G26 PT-Can if that would help , would be cool to use the G-Series selector I’m my E39 instead of F10 selector

Happened once , forgot the seal between valve body and gearbox .

I can confirm that. The new firmeware / tables are great , overall improvements, downshift speed, smoothness, Keep going .

Following this, because i have similar problems.
Same engine, 8hp70
When gearbox temp >50 degrees, downshifts , specially 8-7 4-3 3-2 feels like wheels are blocking for a short moment.
upshifts are OK, but same as you, full throttle, red line, then they are much to hard.

Shifting is quite different now .
How can I reset the adaptions ?

TCU should turn off (+delay) when IGNITION +12V on terminal 35 is switched off.
