Re: Usuing a mechanical shifter with a turoblamik

Unfortunately the TCU can't run any gauges. It can run an overtemp light but no actual gauges.
There is a small display that can be connected directly to the TCU for basic data but that would be about it.

Re: Usuing a mechanical shifter with a turoblamik

I guess I don't fully understand the question because I don't know what specifics you're looking for and what ecu or display will be used.
But yes CAN bus can be used, you mentioned LT4, so either your planning to run an OEM ecu or aftermarket either is not difficult to setup via CAN.
The tach is ...

Re: Usuing a mechanical shifter with a turoblamik

What you're describing is absolutely doable. You would need to use a linear position sensor to get a voltage value for each gear selector position.
For example a typical B&M shifter for a hotrod uses a cable. You would replace the cable at the shifter with the linear position sensor. Then wire that ...

Re: Turbolamik TCU 8HP70

So to answer this you haven't provided enough info.
Is the motor turbo/supercharged? What is the idle vacuum when cold/hot in TunerPro with live data active? ( this is needed to setup the TQ tables ). What is the idle RPM when cold/hot?

Have you confirmed that RPM, MAP and TPS values are all ...

Re: CAN settings for Motec M1 to TCU

Settings shown are for rx only, to enable tx you will need to setup a can id that you can transmit to from the TCU.
Enter that id you have selected and then select what analogs your sending

Re: Ls3 with holley dominator ecu

No offense as it's unclear but you should find an installer if you're not sure where the wires go.
Your question provided no details on what it is you're asking for other than pin numbers.

CAN2 is to connect to the ECU as noted in the pinout.

Re: ERROR 33

Error 33 is no commuication from TCU to ECU on CAN2.
The can bus your gear selector is on will be CAN1.
CAN2 is what connects to the car or directly to the ecu if using an aftermarket. You need to verify you have CAN2 connected

Re: Error 33

So error 33 is no communication on CAN2 - which is the connection of the TCU to the ECU.
If you have loaded a new file and the error just occured, try opening the new file in tuner pro and select compare then load bin. Put the previous file into Bin 1 and hit ok.
Then go to tools and select the ...

Re: LS1 RPM Signal from Crank Trigger

Unfortunately I believe it's only 5v, I typically would use a voltage divider to drop the voltage to 4.95v or add a trigger to the balancer. Under Analog Engine Speed, the 'Engine Speed Input Sensitive Voltage ' table is set to 5v as it's max range. I've always used this as my max input voltage.

Re: Gear slip

So assuming you haven't been letting it slip for long durations during the 'slip'.
Also assuming you have not added the wrong filter/pan (there are a few floating around that don't work - filter spacing issues).
Also assuming you have the oil level correct.

The torque table may be your issue, if ...
