Re: Analog Switch input for selector Park position

For park / gear selection there are multiple ways.
CAN using OEM selector
CAN using OEM selector standalone
CAN using Button Pad standalone
Analog buttons using multiple analogs
Analog button for park/drive and paddles for gear selection
Variable voltage using a single input that does all the gear ...

Re: LS1 RPM Signal from Crank Trigger

If no CAN is available you'll need to run the TCU in standalone mode.
At a minimum, a brake pedal switch, a TPS sensor, Map sensor, and an RPM signal.
You can piggyback from the OEM sensors on the engine with the exception of the OEM LS1 RPM signal. The LS1 does offers a tach signal that is easy to ...

Re: LS1 RPM Signal from Crank Trigger

Whats the factory ECU your using? CAN bus honestly is easier but you still have to wire in your map sensor to an analog, imo. Analog inputs can be used but you'll have to piggy back all the existing sensors the ECU uses.

Re: BRAKE ADAP

I would say those values are hi to avg, not a great answer I know but.. many things are factors. For example a tq value either from a stock ecu or the internal tq table will affect this. You'll see this number change from a fresh oil change on the trans. Also as the clutches wear you'll see these ...

Re: REaldash CAN ID

If I understand your question the TX can ID's used to send data to the dash would be (shown in HEX)

Base ID Configurable (Default H640)
Base ID+1 Configurable (Default H641)
Base ID+2 Configurable (Default H642)

The BASE ID can be change from the default. The TCU uses decimal number so 640hex ...

Re: Kickdown 3-2

So I'll try my best here but there is alot of missing information to know on your TCU calibration.

First:
Table 'Minimum gear reduce Kickdown OFF'
This table is the lowest gear the kick down can use. It will not go lower than this gear.

Second:
What is your "Kickdown Input" table set to?
If it's ...

Re: Analog Switch input for selector Park position

For buttons / analongs you'll have to set the 'input' used for each position. See 'Selector Call analog input switching '.

Also note there is a Selector Analog input which is different. You assign your inputs in the table I mentioned above for option 15. Also you have to have your brake input ...

Re: Missing lockup ON RPM/TPS

You have either deleted it, moved it or renamed it.

You could use Crtl + F and change the search to 'at or containing this address' and enter 0x1572
If it's there it should pop up in the search window. Assuming your on 10.74

Or just redown load the XDF file from the downloads section and you ...

Re: Temp sensor scale

I don't beleive it's posted anywhere but the closest sensor is the Bosch NTC M12 sensor. A used 8HP45 transmission control unit would cost 150ish used (less for a known bad unit). Either swap over the sensor or use the 8HP45 unit, just make sure it has all the pins on the connector. They are all ...

Re: BMW E60 6HP Plug Wiring, Pinout

All of the pins your trying to use at the black connector for the trans still need to be connected to the turbolamik. I don't see how that is any easier than just routing the Lamik connector to the trans. You still need to connect the CAN and power gnds to the Lamik as well for the dash, shifter etc ...
