I joined here towards the end of last year to do a little research as I'd been building a project car for a number of years, but the DCT box wasn't working as I'd hoped.
I'd done all I could myself to the car, before handing it over to SRD Tuning to be finished.
Speaking to them the decision was made to remove the DCT and go down the 8HP70 route.
Video below is from a few weeks ago. Since then the ride height and geo has been sorted and I've test driven the car and I have to say the ZF swap is brilliant.

Been there - I think I know exactly what you experienced with the DCT 
. 8HP swap was the best choice. Just need to get the engine dialed in now to finally go WOT.

Engine is dialled in and making 564rwhp.
TCU is dialled in
Launch control is pretty much dialled in.
So just a few little jobs left and it'll be all done and ready to enjoy.
