Hello.
It is possible to put emergency neutral while engine doesnt start? Im know about screw, but is there any other way? Like this

You can't do that without oil pressure. The P position mechanism is hydraulic (8hp70 for example).

Why gearbox not hold neutral position for 15mins after engine off with key in slot (contact R on) like it does in OEM mechatronics? Some times its help to move vehicle by hand to service lift and now for that needed to hold engine on for neutral

These guys have made a manual override for the DCT boxes, and if you read the comments they are working on a manual override for the 8HP boxes, which should be available very soon.

So for anyone interested it might be worth keeping an eye out to see what they come out with.

Thanks, interesting! In case of E60 lci we already have release cable in right place, but on 8hp release lever need to be pulled down instead of 6hp pull up, and there are no convenient protrusions for attaching the cable to the case, need to do make some custom…
