Analog Switch input for selector Park position

Post by Richard.C »

I'm not quite clear reading the manual if what I am trying to do is possible.

I have a button that switches to ground, can I switch an analog input to ground to put the gearbox into park?

I'm not sure if using "Parking Signal Input" set to an analog input and then set the "Parking Signal Input Invert" would achieve it?

Or maybe it's not possible to do it with a switch to ground?

Any advice appreciated.

As a follow up to this would appreciate if anyone can let me know if I've done anything wrong.

What I have done is as follows and appears to be working okay:

Selector input set to 15
Selector Call Analog Input Switching, P (park) position set to analog input 9 (all others set to 0)
Selector Call Analog, P position set to 0 volts

Thanks

For buttons / analongs you'll have to set the 'input' used for each position. See 'Selector Call analog input switching '.

Also note there is a Selector Analog input which is different. You assign your inputs in the table I mentioned above for option 15. Also you have to have your brake input working. Then monitor your input and make sure it's not sitting at 0.0volt all the time if so you will prob need a pullup resistor to 5v (unless there is an invert available) - also added that pdf.
