First of many questions I’ll have. TLDR Does the TCU have an output for transmission temp?
I am swapping a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali and want to retain the reading on the original temp gauge. I have not confirmed but I believe the OEM uses a 0-5V reference.

Re: Transmission Temp Output
There's no analog output for trans temp, only CAN bus.
For older vehicles we do I normally put a temp sensor on the cooler lines when keeping the OEM dash.
There are other options though like dakota digital.
