Hi , for the past 2 weeks i've been struggling with the connections for the 8hp gearbox into my car (e92 2007 335d ), i made the tcu connections to the 6hp plug, and now when i power up the car a few bad things happen:
1-gear lever only powers when i turn ignition on , and shows P and doesnt move to N ;

2- car gets an error A0B6, wich is related to the selector lever interlock , and shows a message saying "select position P before leaving the car"

3- even with both the screen near the tacho and the selector showing P , i can still rotate rear wheels;
Hope someone can help.

Did you make the bundle yourself or did you order from turbolamik? if you ordered, was it universal or PNP?

1.if you cannot exit P, it means that the TCU does not see the pressed brake pedal. In E92, this information should be received via CAN bus, so probably badly connected CAN bus or need to change in TCU settings

2. Selector error appears because you have not connected the appropriate cable to the CAS module

3. The parking lock may not work because there is an emergency unlocking bolt on the underside of the parking lock, and you have it in

I ordered from the turbolamik representant in Portugal, it is an universal harness, and it as :
-conector to the shifter ;
-conector to the 8hp ;
-conector to lcd mode screen (wich powers up but doesnt show anything) ;
-conector to mode switch;
-an then i have some cables , one labeled "neutral" which i conected to 6hp park position pin , one labeled "brake signal"which i conected to the brake pedal, then two cables labeled "can h" and "can L " which i conected to the can pins on the 6hp conector, the rest is just some 12v+ cables and grounds which i also conected to the 6hp plug.
I talked with the guy from 0 to 60 youtube channel and he mentioned that lamik sends the park signal over a specific pin (i assume is that "neutral"cable i referred , correct me if im wrong) that needs to go into a specific pin in the car harness.
Hope you can help .
Best regards RG.

Here you have how to connect to the 6HP plug from TCU. If you connect as in the photo, it must work. After removing the original 6hp selector, a few plugins will remain. There is one black 4-pin, you need to connect PIN 2 and PIN 3 in it

Thanks a lot for your help!!
One more question , on my tcu the P10 is empty ,so i should make a connection from pin10 to paddle up, right?
And since the pin18 is already a ground supply from the program seletor, can i use p19 instead ?
I am asking this because when i first made the conections i wired the paddle shifters to pin36 and p37 , an the manual mode seems to function only in some programs .
Best regards, Rg.

The E92 had 2 types of paddles.
the first version of buttons that shorted to gnd and then we connect them to pin 36-37 in tcu.
the second type is MUX variable resistance paddles, then they are connected to pin 10 and gnd sensor 16-20

paddles should work the same on all programs. on P1 and P2, after clicking, there is a manual mode, but when you do not use it, it returns to automatic after 20 seconds.
on programs P3-P8 manual is all the time

pins 16-20 and 24-27 is this same sensor GND

So , Jar , i would like to know if that configuration will work with other mux /variable resistance paddles like the f80 ones ? (Conecting the signal from both paddles to pin 10 on tcu , and the ground for both paddles to pin 19 gnd sensor on tcu ,and then just make configuration on the software like you explain on the tcu manual ?)
By the way , a HUGE thank you for the support so far !

You can use any paddles with variable resistance. By default they are run in tcu. It is possible that you will need to configure it differently because by default it is done under the BMW e90.

I´ve connected the paddles , the signal from the paddles wired into tcu pin 37 and ground to tcu pin 19, í´ve done the configuration on the softaware as it says in the manual(set MUX input to a12 , and set up and down to mux 1 and mux 2) , but when i try to use the paddles only one paddle works ,its set to downshift sso it only downshifts .
Can you help , what could be wrong with my configuration?
-my configuration:
-f80 m3 paddle shifters ,both signal wires join into one that connects to tcu pin 37;
-ground wire from paddles goes to sensor groun tcu pin 19;
Thanks for all the help so far!
Best regards RG.
