Transbrake clutch pressure while stationary.

Has anyone played with torque converter lock up while stationary and brake depressed?

I was hoping to stop the TCU from applying converter clutch pressure for footbrake launches. On transbrake we can see the converter clutch pressure isnt applired until the engine is making a certain amount of torque.

I have tried adjusting the "lock up on RPM/TPS table", which works while the vehicle is moving, but doesnt seem to help while stationary.

The customer has tried transbrake and it works well, but he broke his diff at the track already, so doesnt want to use transbrake if he can get enough RPM and boost on the footbrake.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you try the "lockup disable after tbrake/launch"

No, however we are trying to get the desired result with out using the transbrake. So lockup after transbrake wouldnt be relevant.

I think that the lock up clutch wil ware out soon if you use It like that we try It to make the car better drive a way from stand stil
But i think the beniffit of a torqconverter is that you dont use a clutch i think It better to costum a torq converter
And if you ware out the lock up its more expensiv
Than a clutch from the gearbox
Lockup is one clutch transbrake use more
Cant you make the transbrake les agressif?

In drag race they use often costum torque converters
With a stall speed thats write for the car the beniffit is that you dont use any clutch you only warm up the oil very quick

Hi,
Did you tried launch settings? Instead of transbrake? If you activate lauch will deactivate transbrake, and if you launch it like that you can manage the TC lockup better for smooth and powerful launch.
