I would like the green backlight to be red so that it merges with the BMW backlight filter or the possibility of installing an OLED display in the e46 instrument panel. There are videos on YouTube where the guys implemented this, but there is no information where to do it or where to purchase a ready-made solution .

I once saw a customer choose some coloring foil and stick it on a green display. In this way, it achieved the same color as the backlight in BMW. I don't know what color foil he used to do this.

I'll try it because I want the old BMW backlight.
