VSS output signal type

Hello

I am wiring the VSS output to a GM LS1 ECU as well as to an FD RX7 speedometer. The car previously had a T56 2 wire VSS feeding a dakota digital signal converter to provide a signal for the RX7 speedometer so in the absence of that I have to provide a VSS input for the ECU as well as for the speedometer. What type of signal does the TCU output?

Hope you found a solution, as of 10 Apr 25, you had around 300 views and no one replied. You can use VSS out, Aux Out 9, pin 54.

Note: the Aux Outputs are all on/off type outputs (like a switch), this pin is active low type, when closed the switch connects to ground. You will need to connect a resistor (4K7) between this pin and +12v. This will 'pull up' the voltage to +12v when the internal switch is open, when it closes the voltage drops to 0V.

You MUST use a resistor for this 'pull up resistor' (can google it).
