BMW E60 6HP Plug Wiring, Pinout

Hi,

I'm doing 8HP70 swap into BMW E60 6HP.
I wan't to use stock wiring harness and repurpose original 6HP wires to connect to 8HP.

So basically I need to know how to connect back&white plug to TCU.

What I already figured:

Code: Select all

Balck plug: TCU:
 3 - Can height 67 - Can 2 H (engine ECU)
 4 - Can low 66 - Can 2 L (engine ECU)
5 - 12v from main relay (30A fuse) 51,52,53 Battery +12V - seems like all 3 needs to be connected
 6 - Ground 43,44,45 Power Ground - should I connect all 3 pins?
7 - Ground same as above
 8 - +12v ignition 35 - Ignition +12V
It would be much helpful if some 1 could help me fill the gaps,
and write what needs to be connected from white plug :-)

Or if some 1 have 6HP wiring harness on table and could do pin mapping from 6HP plug pins to TCU pins, that would be very much helpful and could be put into manual to future projects :-)

All of the pins your trying to use at the black connector for the trans still need to be connected to the turbolamik. I don't see how that is any easier than just routing the Lamik connector to the trans. You still need to connect the CAN and power gnds to the Lamik as well for the dash, shifter etc...

I never said, that I'm looking for the easiest way ;-)

I wrote my reason why I want to my project this way:
I wan't to use stock wiring harness and repurpose original 6HP wires to connect to 8HP.
plus I want to have minimal amount of wires possible.

I already have whole harness on a bench, so this:
All of the pins your trying to use at the black connector for the trans still need to be connected to the turbolamik.

so is not a problem for me.
I already connected most of the wires to TCU like:
- gearbox
- shifter
- program switcher
- and LCD
You still need to connect the CAN and power gnds to the Lamik
If you read carefully my post: CAN/power/gnds are in black plug, so this is already solved.

If you know what pins from white plug should go to which pins on TCU, that would be helpful
and it is last piece of the puzzle for me.
Also I can figure this out if some 1 will provide pin mapping 6HP Plug => TCU plug
