The team that I do the tunning just posted a video of the new engine on the same car. Right now we changed the M57 306D4 for a LS3 525cv with the same 8hp70x and an SCS transfercase 😉

The 8hp doesn't need to shift gear by gear. Maybe you don't have the right settings or kickdown enabled.


It does with the Turbolamik. Kickdown doesn't help either. From what I understand, it is still being worked on by the Lamik team and should be available this year. It's not available at ...

I have an 8HP90 from a hellcat in my truck. Going full throttle in high gear takes forever to downshift to 3rd or 4th gear. The problem seems to be that the transmission goes gear by gear instead of directly going to the needed gear.

For example, if in 8th gear and full throttle, it will go 8->7 ...

No, however we are trying to get the desired result with out using the transbrake. So lockup after transbrake wouldnt be relevant.

Did you tried launch settings? Instead of transbrake? If you activate lauch will deactivate transbrake, and if you launch it like that you can manage the TC ...

I know and i have the gear up with 0% tps at 2000 rpm
Car shifts very nice this happens only in extreme downhill and in off road situations and when i am in low gear
But i wil try to put the rpm up
But the lock up is also slipping more than i like
