Electric fan not working tcu
Electric fan not working tcu
after connecting the oil cooling fan to the controller and setting the temperature on and off auxiliary, the fan does not turn on even through the relay, the rest works fine
Re: Electric fan not working tcu
Things to check
Do you have the correct Aux output pinned in the TCU connector?
In tunerpro do you have it also set to the matching Aux pin under fan.
In tunerpro do you have the 'ON' temp greater than the 'OFF' temp.
Use a voltmeter with the relay disconnected and test the output from the TCU - is it switching when you drop the temp values in tunerpro.
Does the relay pin 85 or 86 (the one not connected to the TCU) have the correct polarity.
The main fuse for the fan that powers the relay pin 30 is good.

Re: Electric fan not working tcu
in tuner pro temp 85 and 80 aux 1 no voltage on pin 32
Re: Electric fan not working tcu
You didn't check polarity with a voltmeter.
AUX 1-8 outputs 0.5a low side
AUX 9-10 output 5A low side
AUX 11-12 output 3A higt side
