i had the same issue i had to wire from aux 8 tcu pin 42 to the solenoid switch wire from the original shifter if that makes sense

As someone mentioned earlier, you need to connect the selector latch signal from aux8 to the CAS module. If the car receives information via Can-Bus, it will allow the car to be started without this signal, only an error will appear in CAS and the gear on the instrument cluster.

As I mentioned earlier that connection is already done. This is not my work it is from Cantcu. But it will likely fix your problems.

In some models CAS will throw a fault code regarding PLOCK. This is fixed by adding an extra ground wire on CAS pin 11
In some models, the RPM needle behavior will be erratic. Fixed by changing the value of DZM_DISP_RPM in KOMBI."
