Keep it in the gear i select.

Post by Nmr_fabrication »

Hi everyone.

Its maybe a very easy answer, but I'm just done with the 8hp conversion in my nissan patrol m57.
I have to drive it Monday on the track and I need a lot to figure out, but that's something to worry about after Monday.

Just want to know if it's easy to set the ecu to a gear I select on manual mode, and keep it in that gear.
I have to drive a offroad track and sometimes is nice to keep it in a selected gear.

It would be nice I can make a offroad map or something in map 2 to select with the button. Or does this kind of map allready exist in a map number?
Can't find anything about this.

Thanks!

On Program Selector -> Auto set to '0' to disable auto.
On the MAX RPM Limit table note I have P7 and P8 set to 9000rpm. This table will auto shift if you rev to this value.

Disabling auto and setting the limit table for that Program number will not allow it to shift
