4BTA Swap

this will by my first swap ever. i have a 2015 ram 1500 with the ecodiesel and it spun all 4 main bearings. i want to put a 4BTA 3.9 cummins in place. can i install this controller and still use my original shift knob? its electronic and i want to keep the factory one.

I'm not familiar with that selector to answer your question fully but it can be made to work yes. If the selector is not supported but has either an analog output(s) or CAN, yes it can be used but may require a converter. I build these for example, using a Teensyduino that has analog inputs or CAN and send that to the TCU as a supported 'BMW' selector. You also have the option of using analogs alone if the selector has such outputs.
