I have an HP 75 transmission I want to run an 8 hp70 TCU on my 8 HP 75 valve body inside my 8hp75 will this work or do I need to repin or change something ?
Old Transmission is 8hp70 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 ecodiesel
New transmission 8hp75 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 ecodiesel
My old TCU have PCB board installed and it is 16 pin conector while the 8hp75 is a 10 pin connector

You need to get with support on this, you'll need a file from them. If the backplane you currently have is only 10pin it will not work. Also the 75 is a different valve body that will require an 8hp45 - 70 backplane. There are a few other differences like solenoid phasing which can be addressed in the TCU or with the backplane mod. I would get with support either way and get their suggestions first.

valve plates between 70 and 75 is not compatibile.
Plastic electronic with soldered PCB is compatibile between all 45/50/51/70/75/76. 90/95/96 have longer sensors
Remember after change gearbox model you must change base file in TCU
