BMW F22 240i manual swap to 8hp50

Hi so we have a project on the go a f22 240i b58 with manual box we are swapping to 8hp50 with turbolamik tcu, I am making this post so I can show the progress and get support if I can during the process,

There are some things we need to know if anyone has made a similar set up
Do we need to code the car to be an auto?
Most of what I see is plug and play for the autos so will there be more wiring that needs to be done as the car is a factory manual?
Is there anything else I need to know?
