New install, everything happy and no fault codes until start engine, then battery voltage shows 3.5v and ignition 12v. When measuring the voltage at the pins on ecu it measures 12v but shows 3.5v on the screen?
Battery and earths direct to battery.
Anyone know the cause?

Unplug the trans connector
Start the pc and and begin logging and start the engine and see if the batter voltage is at 13-14 volts. If it is you most likely have a short in the trans. What's the battery voltage the TCU is reporting while the trans is disconnected?
Put a volt meter on the Batt + and monitor the voltage at the connector. What's the voltage?
Using ohm meter measure the ohms from the TCU connector ( while unplugged ) back to battery ground at the battery. What's the reading?
