If you need help with the CAN Bus integration of E46 chassis, lets concentrate the knowledge here.

@Lamik brothers, if you need additional information from MS42 or MS43 on CAN bus, let me know. We can add that to OEM ECU.

Manages the engine torque
But not tested in MS42-43
It will contact you when we will test MS42-43 ECU

Is it possible TCU can read CAN message- DSC off (after pressing button) and actuate one of outputs?

I have one SMG car waiting for conversion ...

when the car has SMG, the ECU should be coded as manual or 5hp gearbox. smg emulation is not supported

OK but we can use CAN communication from MS43? TCU will read it? No need for extra sensors or wiring?

No additional sensors are needed to work with the MS43. Unless the turbo is added, then the map sensor should be connected.

BTW downshift and flatshift works? And is it possible to use oem SMG shifter or I need to use M4 DCT shifter?
