Program Switch vs. Selector

Hi there,

can someone explain the function of the program switch to me.

If I have installed your (DCT) shifter to change the speed level and D / S, do I need the switch at all or can I also configure the D / S as I like.

The program switch is used to select programs 1-8 that can be freely configure. A switch is not necessary. Selector allows you to select programs 1-3 which are also freely configurable.

Thank you, this was what i need to know. So i can mount the switch in the gloove box. Just in case.

Today I wired my Programm switch.

Is I normal that it stop working when I plug in the can shifter?
When I unplug the can shifter, it works fine. But when the shifter is plugged, it only shows P1
