Unable to connect to TCU

Hello,
Has anyone had trouble with connecting to the TCU . There is an error for
Unknown usb device ( device descriptor request failed ) . I have download the usb driver provided by Lamik but still no connection

I have literally had the same issue yesterday. It was the cable, worked perfect first time with a different cable

They must have a batch of bad cables then as I’m having the same issue with a brand new tcu

Yes, that's right, unfortunately there was one defective batch of cables.
The cables were of poor quality and do not work.

If you need to connect quickly and you can't get a working cable this is a quick way, you need to remove a piece of isolation from the wire and connect the black wire to the external shield, then the cable will work.

Tried to do that, now cable works with any other device like openport, but still not work with tcu, not recognized usb device. Heh, its very hard to find another 90 degree mini usb. Straight connector not fit because of space in electronics box

I’m still stuck on this topic.

Have tried different cables - still the same issue - no hardware found.



Brand new TCU unit - on Tunerpro RT on Win11 64bit.


No matter what I do or change - still having the same result.
