E36 shifter issue

Hi guys. Iv fitted a 8hp70 with f30 330d shifter on my e36 drag car. Using a non can ecu .everything is reading perfectly on the lamic.all analogue inputs fine but when i shift to drive on p1 the display shows 6M...R..N.P all fine.what could be the issue.thanks

Only error is 033 can bus

when there are errors in the TCU, the operation of the gearbox is limited to 6 gear. If the TCU is configured as ANALOG then CAN must be disabled in the TCU

So is this why I get 0v on (50) Analog Out 2 (Tq. Reduction) ? Because I'm running Can1 (selector) and Can2 (engine)?
