Hard acceleration 3rd gear only

Hi been doing adaptation on my mitsubishi l200 with a zf8hp70 everything is perfect but when under harsh acceleration goes straight to 3rd gear and stays there until you slow down.....has anyone got a clue why this is iv checked the oil level of the transmission and all seems to be fine any help is appreciated
