Hello.
I have now try to connect 1x e84 selector to my new Turbolamik kit without any luck.
little background, i have E82 BMW 135i N54 with lamik full kit 6hp21x to 8hp70x including custom cable kit.
what work, everything else except selector, even paddles seems to work and no error message
in tunerpro.
shifter cables are
-10 green +12v (ok)
-8 yellow can l (2.45v)
-7 white han h (2.45v)
-6 brown ground (60 ohm to ground ?? ) is this ok ?
-5 grey (12v)
can there be missing something from 6hp connector what is essential for this? i assume Lamik
get it`s power feed and ground from that connector. that gear lever ground is what i suspect as
guilty one.
if someone has easy acces to thaat lever connector, it could help to measure resistance to ground, 60 ohm or something else ?
that was measured with start power off
i`ll doublechecked those connections that they are right placed in tcu multiconnector.
shifter is 9 260 295-01 so that should be the right one
then tunerpro settings
assume --sensor call-- sensor input--selector input should be 0 = can1 selector input
assume --can--can1 (selector)--can1 type selector should be 30 (tryed 32 too without luck
what else in bin can blackout only this selector..
First timer in Lamik community so please, be gentle.. and oh, English is not my native or even second
language so there cam be misspells and errors
no connection to gear selector
Re: no connection to gear selector
I found on a video from swen hellewig in youtube a installation of a x1 shifter and there was 2 pins in opposite positions what seems to be in Lamiks assembly pic. It's pin 5 and 6 where i have ground and supply.
I have brown as ground in pin6 and grey as supply in pin5 but in video those are opposite connected as i measured them.
Should i trust lamik pic or video pic?

Re: no connection to gear selector
******ATTENTION*****
the pin layout in manual section 1x e84 is FAULTY, DO NOT TRY IT.
i burned one selector with that.
fault is
pin 1 is power supply (green, in manual it`s on pin 10)
pin 2 is empty ( on both)
pin 3 is CAN L ( yellow, in manual it`s on pin 8)
pin 4 is CAN H ( white, in manual it`s on pin 7)
pin 5 is ground ( brown, in manual it`s on pin 6 )
pin 6 is ign power( grey, in manual it`s on pin 5 )
they did mistake when they calculated the pins from wrong end and swapped grey and brown <>
doublecheck that, on HTG ( sorry to mention) there is right pin layout, do it with that, swen`s video is correct too,
there is visible that pin numbers and they do NOT match manual.
i put information allready to Lamik and hope they doublecheck those others too, maybe it was only on this...
