Hi Lamiks,
Is 8HP45 something you will support in the future? It would be the perfect gearbox for BMW M5x engines because it doesnt need so much modification.
Also many NA or supercharged builds don't need giant 8HP70.
Regards, Rob

Re: Support for 8HP45
8hp45 is up and running, but we're working on the basemaps. An update will be released in the near future.

I'm interested in this too. The car I want to swap into has a small tunnel (and 2L turbo engine), so 8HP45 seems to be the obvious choice to try and fit.
Re: Support for 8HP45
Any updates on this? I am going to be purchasing soon once the software is available. Thanks!
Re: Support for 8HP45
We are slowly finishing work on 8hp45 support. The gearbox is now fully operational. We are making some small adjustments to the smoothness of the gearbox. The update will be available officially within a few days. Several cars are already testing the operation of the gearbox.
You must be aware that the 8hp45 gearbox is designed to handle much less power than the higher models. The safe limit for this gearbox is around 500-550 NM

Sounds about fine to me. If I get anywhere near that regularly they'll take away my licence here anyway.Jar wrote: 17 Jan 2022, 11:35 You must be aware that the 8hp45 gearbox is designed to handle much less power than the higher models. The safe limit for this gearbox is around 500-550 NM

I've never dyno'd my car but it should be around that torque range. I can't push much more torque than that as my engine is fully unopened.
