this cable is used to unblock the parking lot in the event of a breakdown in order to remove the vehicle from the road. Moving the steering rod towards the bolt holes will deprive the gearbox of the parking brake

I have to latch this lever somehow because the car won't move. I've got a racing shortshift, I don't have a conventional lever to lock it. I don't know what position to put it in.
