TPS INVERTED

Post by JACKDYNAMIC01 »

Hi Team,

Currently doing the initial programming on my 8hp swap behind a Toyota 1hd ft. I have the tcu collecting the tps data however it is inverted. 100% throttle on tuner pro is 0% in real life. Is there a way to correct this in tuner pro or do I need to install an aftermarket tps?

Thanks!

You don't mention your ECU so I'll assume your wired to the TPS.??

If so go to Sensor Cal -> TPS CALL and open that table.

On the Data Dash (Red Circle at the top of tuner pro) with live data active go to the drop down and change it to Analog. Get your 0% and 100% values and put those on your TPS Call table. Remembe to give your self a little extra room on that table to ensure true 0 and 100

Hi,

I got it sorted. I am using an analog tps as there is no ecu. I had setup the tps table and had that sorted. However because the TPS decreases volts with more throttle and not increase I had issues. I’ve since worked out that you can invert the 5v feed and negative input to the TPS to invert this feed to increase volts when the throttle is pushed.

Thanks anyway

Nice, just a reminder that your tps needs to be at 0.0% at idle. You'll still need to set your voltages for your zero and wot positions.
