Anyone knows why some have a extra pump, and some not?
Got some gearboxes over here.
But discovered that the same boxes (8hp70x) has some difference.
One has a hole for the pump, and one does not have a (extra?) Pump.
Maybe it has something to do with the 4wd system?
8hp70x with or without pump.

With no input rpm (engine off) the trans will not have pressure. That accumulator allows for park to be held off while the engine shuts off during stop/go traffic.
