Re: Stuck in P1
Have you checked the analogue input value is changing when switching between positions on the rotary switch? (Assuming you are using the rotary switch for program selection)

Re: Bit of research...
Hi, yes I believe torque reduction can be done in hard wiring but the throttle blip will need firmware anyway so I'd prefer to add them both on CAN if Emerald had time but they are very busy.

Re: Bit of research...
Hi Mitus,
Just thought I'd reply as I have a K6 running a Chevy V8 on an 8HP from an XF, everything runs fine. I would like to get throttle blip and torque reduction implemented but that will require modified firmware on the Emerald to achieve that.

Re: Analog Switch input for selector Park position
Thanks for the info.
I've implemented Park position using an analog input.
I've found there are two potential methods:
1. Analog switching as per the pdf in previous post.
2. Parking signal input
Method 2 required the gearbox to be in neutral before switching to Park whereas method 1 switches ...

Re: Analog Switch input for selector Park position
As a follow up to this would appreciate if anyone can let me know if I've done anything wrong.
What I have done is as follows and appears to be working okay:
Selector input set to 15
Selector Call Analog Input Switching, P (park) position set to analog input 9 (all others set to 0)
Selector Call ...

Analog Switch input for selector Park position
I'm not quite clear reading the manual if what I am trying to do is possible.
I have a button that switches to ground, can I switch an analog input to ground to put the gearbox into park?
I'm not sure if using "Parking Signal Input" set to an analog input and then set the "Parking Signal Input ...

Ver 10.74 Base Map
I'm in the process of updating from 10.73 to 10.74.
I have done the TCU update along with XDF and ADX files but I don't see a ver 10.74 base map. What is in the download section shows up as 10.72
Is this the file to use?

Re: Slow Downshifts
Read this and set up your program modes accordingly or skip and go full manual if you want max control - just an option, Automatic mode: 0-OFF in the Program Selector table. The TCU will fall back to the 'Max. RPM Limit' table and force a shift if you exceed the table value.
